KDFF on a high against Vittsjö: ”Total control”
The last time KDFF played a match was on 27th February, against Premier Division
opponents Eskilstuna United. Kristianstad won 3-1.
In the training match against Vittsjö GIK at the weekend goalkeeper Brett Maron let in a goal after only one and a half minutes.
– That happens easily when you haven’t played a match for so long. At the same time Vittsjö were quick to take advantage, says Björn ’Bjössi’ Sigurbjörnsson, KDFF’s assistant trainer.
KDFF equalised in the 24th minute, and at half- time the score was still 1-1. The winning goal came in the middle of the second half.
The players in KDFF were highly satisfied with their performance against Vittsjö GIK.
– After our poor start we did a good job. I think we had total control of the match after the first twenty minutes. And particularly in the second half, we didn’t give them a chance’.
Next for KDFF will be a training match away against Växjö DFF on Thursday.
KDFF’s first Premier Division match will be an away match on Sunday, 28th June, when they will meet Kopparbergs/Göteborg, who are tipped to top the division.
