Sebastian Brajic had not competed for a year and a half. At the end of October, he promised to go for the gold medal at the SM. This weekend he got his revenge on Joel Palmqvist, who he lost to in the March 2018 SM-Finals.

– It was a relief actually. I myself don't think I'm in such good shape. So it was nice to come back and win, says Sebastian Brajic.

The SM-final in March 2018 was also Brajic's last competition. Later in August of the same year, he decided to take a break.

– I think I had control in all the matches. I didn’t drop a single point and did what I could, says Sebastian Brajic, who competes in the +84 kilo class.

He also won bronze in the team competition with his brother Alexander.

For the Centrum Karate Club, another medal was won when Lisa Pärlemar Svensson won bronze in the junior class +59 kilos. Pärlemar Svensson trained in Centrum KK, but now competes for the Karategymnasiet.
