How much you can earn with a municipal summer job
Those born in 2001-03 can apply for summer work in Östra Göinge, where there are three-week periods totalling 90 hours.
The pay is 60 crowns per hour, just like last year, and this includes holiday pay. 90 hours, split over three weeks, there will be 5,400 crowns in the account.
Already in 2016, the union Kommunal stated that the salary should be 69 crowns per hour, in addition to holiday pay. And for 18-19 year olds 84 crowns per hour, in addition to holiday pay.
What about the neighbouring municipalities then? Osby offers about 80 municipal summer jobs for young people born in 2002-03. There, the salary is 70 crowns per hour (including holiday pay) and there is a total of 80 hours, split over two or three weeks. In other words: 5,600 crowns.
In Kristianstad, young people born in 2001-02 are offered summer jobs for two weeks each (a total of 70 hours). The salary is 70.56 crowns including holiday pay. A total of 4,939 crowns. In Hässleholm, young people born in 2002-03 are offered summer jobs for two weeks each (a total of 40 hours). The salary is 65 crowns per hour including holiday pay. A total of 2,600 crowns.
In all cases, it must be registered in the municipality you are looking for a summer job. Worth noting: If you earn less than 19,670 crowns in 2019, you pay no tax.
