High risk of fires – ban on starting fires in the whole of northeast Skåne
There is a high risk of land and forest fires in forests and on land. Therefore, a fire ban has now been introduced in all municipalities in northeast Skåne.

The ban applies to lighting fires outside, that is, it is forbidden to light a fire or barbecue outdoors. The ban was in effect from 11 am on Wednesday 26th June. The decision applies to Bromölla, Hässleholm, Hörby, Höör, Kristianstad, Osby and Östra Göinge.
In Kristianstad municipality you can grill on an outdoor barbecue or in special barbecue areas that are prepared. But you have to keep an eye on the fire to make sure that no embers spread.
