33 exhibitors filled the foyer at the Arena. Everything from universities and the organisation for Au Pairs to community colleges and large employers such as Region Skåne and the Police in Skåne.

There were representatives from seven different occupational groups in the healthcare sector in northeast Skåne in which there is a shortage of staff: nurses, assistant nurses, doctors, medical secretaries, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and biomedical scientists.

– Everyone is needed. We want to promote the healthcare profession and inspire them to choose them. We who try to be seen, we who work in northeast Skåne, says Johnny Nilsson at the HR unit at Skåne Hospital northeast, that is, the Central Hospital in Kristianstad and Hässleholm Hospital.

Manar Alrefaai comes from Syria and wants to become a physiotherapist. Physical therapist Susanne Persson and occupational therapist Maria Örmgård Persson was happy to hear this.

– I have a foreign high school diploma and asked them about eligibility. I have studied Arabic, but I want to study another sector that is needed in Sweden, she says.

Physical therapist Susanne Persson and occupational therapist Maria Örmgård Persson was happy to hear this.

– It is important. We have the world's best job. Patient contact is the best when you see that they get better, says Maria Örmgård Persson.

Going to a community college is an option to find yourself.

– Many people find that high school is stressful. Then community college can provide calmness and personal development, says Jonas Bydén who studies E-sports at Glimåkra Folk High School. Others want to go out into the world and become an Au Pair or volunteer.

Linnéa Johansson and Miriam Lundberg are on the Restaurant and Patisserie program, but have discovered how stressful the bakery profession is. They want to do something else after graduation.

– I had planned to work for six months and then travel, says Linnéa Johansson. She has just been looking at volunteer trips.

"You develop a lot as a person. I think many people are looking for this," says Madelene Svensson who was happy with her year as an Au Pair with Cultural Care Au Pair. Now she is sharing her experience.
