Head teacher responds to criticism: "Everyone studies at a different pace"
Head teacher Therese Lindecrantz says that she listened to the students who are critical of the teaching of foundation Swedish at Komvux. “We have listened to the students and been in the class with special educationalist several times. I don’t think that the students should compare themselves with their friends. Everyone studies at a different pace,” she says.

Head teacher responds to criticism: "Everyone studies at a different pace"
She says that the school is trying to work with Swedish as a second language as part of the other subjects.
Lindecrantz explains why the students don’t have a book to work with:
– It differs, these students work with digital materials.
The teaching in foundation Swedish was previously one course, but has been divided into four.
– In foundation B we have invested in reading. Grammar comes in module C.
Therese Lindecrantz says she understands that students may feel stressed.
– Swedish is not an easy language. And it can be difficult to combine studies and work, but it is good to go out and practice the Swedish language.
– An extra challenge is that those who come in and study now have a low educational background.
