Hammar may get another 500 homes
Hammar is on the way to getting about 400 new homes. Another new housing area with 500 homes is under discussion. Building firm Thage wants to build everything from blocks of flats to terraced houses.

– We've decided to take up some of our old plans. We discussed this with the municipality 15 years ago. Now it feels as if the time is right, a lot has happened in Hammar, says Anders Andersson, managing director of Thages.
So far it is a question of an application for planning information.This means that the municipality must ascertain whether it is feasible to build in the area. So it can take some time before the plans materialise.

It concerns up to 500 new homes which can become a reality and be built on a plot, Hammar 8:17, to the north of the existing housing area that runs parallell to Road 118, near Månsagården nursery school.
