Gamlegårdskolan closes with a festival - ”A princess on horseback”
Iceland ponies Gletta and Mökkur graze peacefully. The children queue up waiting for their turn to have a ride. Tanja Zabel is a handicrafts teacher at Gamlegårdskolan, but she also has a riding school in Kiaby.
– A princess on horseback, says Tanja Zabel as she sets off with the Iceland pony Gletta, who is carrying one of the girls on her back.
Louise Skoogh is a teacher at the school. She tells us that they wanted to do something out of the ordinary for the 250 pupils, to give them something good to remember from Gamlegårdskolan.
Indoors Class 1 pupils roll around in bubble balls. It looks as if they are really having fun.
In the afternoon Pidde Pannkaka entertained in the assembly hall at Fröknegårdskolan.
– We’ll celebrate the end of term on Friday, in the playground. Each class will perform a number, Louise Skoogh tells us.
– Then after the holidays they’ll start at Lingenässkolan with completely new classes and a split-new school.
