Four years imprisonment for cultivating drugs

A 44-year-old has been sentenced to four years imprisonment for serious drug offences. "The closest industrial production of cannabis that has been going on for a long time," the District Court wrote in its verdict.

At the beginning of May, a villa in Fjälkinge was on fire. After the fire was put out, the police found a cultivation of 210 cannabis plants in the basement. The 44-year-old has admitted to producing cannabis.

Kristianstad District Court has convicted the man for cultivating cannabis since June 2015.

According to the prosecutor, he has produced at least ten kilos a year or a total of at least 47 kilos.

Electricity consumption in the villa has been very high. The 44-year-old made a lot of money from selling cannabis.

The 44-year-old has been sentenced to four years imprisonment for serious drug offences.

The man will be detained until the verdict against him is applied. The District Court also decided to forfeit (to take) boats, trailers, motorcycles and a car which the man (according to the District Court) bought with money from the sale of drugs, and 13,500 in cash.
