The police have made a breakthrough after the shooting on the 27th of January in Långebro. A dark moped/motorcycle of the scooter model has been found and is connected with the murder. Police are still calling for witnesses.
The scooter was found this weekend. At that time the police were knocking on doors in Näsby and in Långebro where the 24-year-old man was shot dead.
The police seized a dark moped/motorcycle of the scooter model at an address in Näsby.
– We think it's the getaway vehicle, says Thomas Johansson, spokesperson at Kristianstad police.
Was there one or two perpetrators who fled on the scooter?
– I can't comment on that.
The police are still calling for witnesses from the 27th of January.
– If anyone has seen such a vehicle during the day or in the evening, in Långebro, in Näsby or in the rest of Kristianstad, we would like to hear from them on 114 14. There may be more witnesses who have seen something and we are interested in them, says Thomas Johansson.
The police are keeping a high pace with the investigation. It is also further strengthened by Operation Rimfrost.
– There may be more knocking on doors, says Thomas Johansson.
