Why a lecture on violence in close relationships on 8th March?

– With the lecture ”Dare to see, dare to ask, dare to do something” at the Regionmuseum we want to increase people's knowledge of violence in close relationships.

– When we talk about violence in the community more people can pluck up courage and talk about what they have experienced. More people can also discover that there is help to be had, says Birgitta Larsson Lindelöf.

Why with Ulrika Rogland?

– Ulrika has previously worked as a judge and as a prosecutor. She has wide experience of crimes against children, violence within relationships, sexual crimes and honour crimes. Ulrika often takes part in the debate to influence law-making and increase what people know about crimes against children, sexual crimes and violence in close relationships.

The lecture is from 12.00 till 13.30. Free entry.

S-group in Kristianstad, Lotus Tjejjouren (girls' support group), Svenska kyrkan, Save the Children, Red Cross, UN-society et al. are behind the arrangement.
