Coronavirus: Security guard in place at the Municipal Hall

Visitors to the town hall had to queue outside the entrance on Tuesday. They were let in one by one. The queue is designed to protect customer service staff and visitors from the corona-infection. Visitors in the queue were fully understanding of the new system.

Several signs with the word stop are placed outside the entrance. That’s where visitors should queue up. A security guard was stationed there to make sure everything works.

This is how Östra Göinge Municipality will meet visitors in the spring, in a safe way.

– Keeping a distance is for the benefit of visitors and staff. We simply want to reduce the risk of infection, says Anna Bertram, Head of Growth in Östra Göinge municipality.

The municipality wants to do its best to comply with directives from governmental authorities.

– There have not been so many visitors, says Bertram.

The security guard from Safepartner says:

– It’s working great. Visitors show a great understanding of this, he says.

The new directives for visitors apply until further notice.

The opening hours for customer service visits have changed. The new opening hours are 10 am-3 pm.
