Corona: People over the age of 70 must isolate themselves - Urbana Hembygdsgården is closed

In Sweden, there are over 1,000 people infected with the coronavirus. There are signs of it spreading in society, especially in Stockholm. This is what the Folkhälsomyndigheten has stated on krisinformation.se, a website with information from authorities and other responsible bodies in Sweden during crises.

Older people belong to the risk groups that could get very ill if they become infected. Younger people only get mild symptoms, like a mild cold.

If you have older relatives, you should only meet them if it is absolutely necessary. If you’re sick yourself, you should definitely not meet them.

In order to limit the spread of infection, Urbana Hembygdsgården (Urbana Community Centre) is closed from March 16th-March 29th. The decision has been made by managers in Kristianstad Municipality.

Many people, both elderly and young children visit Urbana. Urbana will post more information when they open again. "Thank you for your understanding, take care of yourselves," it says on their Facebook page.
