Corona: First Swedish death - Government has stopped large gatherings of more than 500 people

A decision like this has never been made by the government before. IFK Kristianstad will now be forced to play the home match against Önnered on Friday in front of empty stands. IFK has stopped ticket sales for the match. Supporters are encouraged to keep an eye on the website.
On Saturday, Robin Hood – The Musical will be held in Kristianstad Arena and next Friday (March 20th) it will be Thank You for the Music. Later, on April 4th-5th, it’s the Hus & Hem Mässan (House and Home fair) in the arena.
The events will be affected in some way by the government's decision.
The gym chain, Sats, has decided to close all of its gyms in the Nordic countries.
On Tuesday, the Folkhälsomyndigheten (the Public Health Agency of Sweden) raised the risk level of the virus spreading in Sweden to "very high".
The request for the government to prohibit large gatherings was made by the Public Health Agency of Sweden. The decision prevents people from different parts of the country and from other countries from gathering in one place.
The number of people infected by the coronavirus is increasing rapidly in Denmark. There are 340 people infected and over 1,200 people in quarantine. In Sweden, 490 people were infected on Wednesday afternoon, 60 of which were in Skåne.
Denmark has closed all schools and DSB has introduced several measures to reduce the risk of infection. Skånetrafiken is only encouraging travellers to show consideration.
The person in Stockholm who died was an elderly patient who was being treated at Karolinska University Hospital Huddinge. Another patient in Stockholm is in intensive care.
