Children were home alone when fire broke out
A fire broke out in a house in Önnestad. Two children were home alone. They made their way out themselves and made sure that the fire brigade was alerted. The fire is fully developed, but no one has been injured.

– There is a family living here. The adults had driven to work and two children were left at home and discovered the fire, says Rescue Leader Patrik Freij.
The alarm came in at 7.19 am. When the emergency services got there, the house was completely ablaze, the damage was substantial. A total of 15 people from the services in Kristianstad and Önnestad fought against the fire.
The house is completely damaged.
– We’re working on stopping the fire from spreading further, says Patrik Freij at 8.30 am.
