Car flips and catches fire
A car accident happened on the E22 just before 6pm on Sunday. A person who was in the car has died.

The car swerved off the road for an unknown reason outside of Kristianstad and caught on fire.
– The car had flipped when we arrived and was fully ablaze. We have put the fire out, but a person who was in the car has died. We will stay at the scene and work together with the police and the ambulance to take care of the person, says Fire Officer Anders Pålsson with the Fire Service in Kristianstad just before 7pm.
At 8pm the police announced that the deceased person was a man in his 40s, a local resident. His relatives have been informed.
The accident caused the traffic to be temporarily diverted within Kristianstad. At 22.15, the Swedish Transport Administration announced that there is full accessibility at the scene again.
