The new bus station may look like this

So-called superbuses are to run on the route between Kristianstad and Broby in 2022.The municipality has bought up ground near the new bus station. The local plan was ready in the summer. By means of a configuration programme the municipality has produced pictures of what the new bus station may look like.

The idea is to have more buildings close to the bus station. For example the petrol station Qstar will move out to Bastholmen industrial estate.

But the pictures of how the bus station will look in reality are not final.

– They show how it may look if any contractor wants to take on the construction, says planning architect Sandra Cornmark.

The proposal has been under discussion in various administrative authorities. Small adjustments will now be made to the proposal. And then everyone will once again have the opportunity to say what they think.

The target is to have the bus station ready for use in 2021.
