The future in focus for ten days

Everyone living in Kristianstad can become more engaged in questions of climate, environment and the town itself. That is what the arrangers of Framtidsveckan – A week for the future -, from 14th – 22nd September, believe.

This is the sixth year in a row for Framtidsveckan.

Why ’a week for the future’?

Annons

– We want to stimulate new ideas so that sustainability comes up to the surface, for our future in Kristianstad, says Beata Svensson, Agenda 21 co-ordinator in the municipality.

There will be lots of talks, walks, workshops, theatre and arrangements for families. UN’s 17 global sustainability targets, Agenda 2030, is the basis for Framtidsveckan.

What are the highlights?

– Start by going to the opening ceremony at Lilla Torg on Saturday 14th September between 11 am and 2 pm, with questions of sustainability, music, art and food. And then there are lots of other interesting things going on throughout the week.
