The children have moved into the new preschool
On Monday, November 5th, the children moved into Ekebackens preschool in Broby, that is, what was previously the Lutheran mission house which has now been renovated.
The preschool is 500 square metres and cost 15 million crowns to renovate. The pre-school also has a lift.
Head of the pre-school Katarina Dackland says:
– It feels great, we are very positive.
The official opening ceremony will take place on November 27th.
The preschool was first called Ekbackens preschool, but that is also the name of the secondary school in Osby. Therefore, the preschool has changed its name to Ekebacken.
Östra Göinge commune bought the property from the Broby Lutheran missionary association for 1,5 million crowns in 2017.
The building dates back to 1902 and was built by the state sheriff Krook. In short, it was referred to as the "Krookska villa". From 1948-2017 it was used by the Lutheran missionary association.
