Success for job matching

There was already a long queue outside the premises before it was time to open. Some of those who came registered for a course directly. Anyone who was registering with the Labour Market department could be matched and apply for their first job.

– We have listed 21 hidden jobs with different employers who want help finding manpower, says Jens Skarp who works in the Labour Market department.

In place there was a staffing company (Montico), Arbetsförmedlingen (the Job Centre) and study counsellors.

Montico held speed interviews.

– We are looking for manpower on behalf of several companies, says Louise Åkesson, who is a Consultant Manager at Montico.

She explains that truck drivers and machinists are required at present.

Next week, on the 30th of April, there will be a transport company in place. The company is looking for drivers and terminal workers with a B and C license.
