Several suspects were arrested a few hours after the shooting
The shooting on Trebackalånggatan took place at 2.30 pm on Thursday. About 25 patrols, including seven dog patrols and police helicopters, were deployed in pursuit of the perpetrators. They ran from the crime scene.
The police arrested several suspects just hours later in Hässleholm.
– It cannot be ruled out that more people will be arrested, says Internal Officer Mikael Persson.
The police have classified the incident as attempted murder and aggravated larceny. A man in his 30s suffered serious injuries and a 25-year-old man suffered minor injuries.
The police cordoned off an area and a school. Children in several preschools were forced to stay indoors.
By 8 pm on Thursday evening, the forensic technicians were done. Findings have been made at the crime scene.
