Man was ripped off 200 000 when he sold his car

A man in Knislinge sold his car on a shopping site. But he was ripped off 200,000 crowns. He saw the money transferred to his bank account on the computer screen. The day after, the money was not in his account.

The man sold his car on Blocket. He had also confirmed the change of ownership on paper. Then he discovered that the money wasn’t in the account.

He has taken screenshots of the money being transferred between the two different banks.

The man has filed a police report of fraud. The police's advice to others is to check with their bank first before selling things online, and to transfer money via accounts.

For example, it should be possible to get a receipt of the transfer right after it is made.
