Man killed after shooting - Police investigating murder
The police were alerted at 11 pm on Thursday evening. Several loud bangs were heard in the residential area. On the way to the scene, the police received information that a person had been shot.
The 25 years old man was shot on Bataljonsvägen. He was taken to the Centralsjukhuset in Kristianstad by ambulance.
The police guarded the hospital in connection with the incident, to secure the premises.
The man was pronounced dead at CSK.
A larger area around Bataljonsvägen was cordoned off. Forensic technicians and dogs have made several findings. The cordons were removed on Friday morning.
- We have information that at least two people were seen leaving the scene, says police spokesperson, Thomas Johansson.
