Man found in a car – stabbed several times

It was just before 5 pm that a man in the 30's was found stabbed in a Volvo by a gas station in Näsby. Several ambulances and police patrols were called to the scene.

– The man has been stabbed several times, with a knife or a knife-like object. He is being taken to CSK, says Stephan Söderholm, at the police's control centre.

CSK's press office states that a man in his 30’s was admitted to the hospital in the afternoon with injuries relating to violence. His injuries are considered to be minor.

The police believe the man was assaulted elsewhere, not by the petrol station. The police have cordoned off the suspected crime scene and the area by the petrol station.

At 6 pm a man in his 40’s was arrested in central Kristianstad. The man is suspected of attempted manslaughter or attempted murder. He was accompanied by a woman in the same age group. She was also arrested by the police.
