Man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder
It began as a robbery and ended with a man in his 40's being seriously injured. The police arrested a man in his 20’s on suspicion of attempted murder in Åhus

It was around 9 pm on Wednesday night that the police were called out to a residential address in Äspet. There, a man in his 40’s was surprised by a robber who demanded his watch. He tried to protect himself but was seriously injured and had to be taken to hospital.
The police went in search of the perpetrator with a dog and managed to apprehend him, a man in his 20’s. The police detained him during the night.

The police are classifying the incident as attempted murder. The injured man has been interviewed by the police.
On Thursday, the police questioned the suspected perpetrator.
