Explosion in Hässleholm - Three in custody after attempted murder

During the night, the police bomb squad and forensic technicians were at the scene.

It was around 10 pm that SOS Alarm received several calls about a loud bang. Many people living in the building were woken up. The bang took place outdoors on Göingegatan in Hässleholm.

On Thursday morning, the police had no information on what it was that had exploded.

Kristianstadsbladet spoke with a witness at the scene. The witness says several people living in the building were woken up by the bang. A little boy went out into the street with his dad to see what had happened.

– It was louder than on New Year's Eve, the boy told the witness.

The police cordoned off the area. On Wednesday evening the police talked to witnesses and carried out a door-to-door investigation. The cordon was lifted at 3:30. At 7 o'clock on Thursday morning the police had finished their technical investigation.
