Evicted politician has big debts
ABK is evicting Abdikarim Hassan – he must leave his flat by 31st October. Behind the decision is a number of unpaid rents. ABK sued him in Kristianstad District Court for unpaid rent to the sum of 25 000 crowns.
But he could not be found to receive service of the writ.
When he paid the rent that was due, ABK withdrew their claim. But they chose to terminate his tenancy in accordance with the terms f the Tenancy Act.
He has also 71 debts registered with the Swedish Enforcement Authority. Among other things he has not paid maintenance allowance. In addition he has income tax debts and debts from his student grant repayments amounting to 92 445 crowns.
Pierre Månsson (L), chairman of the municipal council, Thinks Abdikarim Hassan ought not to sit on the municipal council.
Hassan was part of a technical co-operation with the Swedish Democrats, SD, after the municipal election of 2018. By this agreement Hassan got two seats on important committees and SD got an extra seat on the municipal council.
Niclas Nilsson, Group leader for SD, says:
– It’s a great pity he hasn’t paid his rent. But we have nothing to do with him today.
