85-year-old woman robbed - perpetrator has been caught on film

The robbery took place by the Bataljonsvägen-Näsbychaussén crossing in Gamlegården at 5.30 pm on Thursday.

The perpetrator left the crime scene on foot towards Snapphanevägen. The police searched for him with the help of a dog patrol.

The police never got hold of the robber. Both ABK and the police have surveillance cameras in the area.

– We have collected material. We have probably caught something on one of the cameras, says Andreas Hällefors, Internal Officer with the Kristianstad police, on Friday.

The woman, aged 85, received a cut to the head. She was taken to the hospital.

Police say the perpetrator had a black hood on and his face was covered. He ran further behind Näsbyvillan's preschool, then along Tranvägen and crossed Näsbychaussén.

The police are looking for witnesses to the robbery.
